A few weeks ago, @JordiGH mentioned The Chewbacca Convention.

The Chewbacca Convention: when two bilinguals with different native languages have a perfectly fluid conversation, each speaking their own native language exclusively. It’s a very common occurrence in real life.

@sajith said they wanted “to converse with non-human species please”.

I said it’s easy to communicate with dogs, possible but harder with cats – and I was super excited when I noticed that squid in an aquarium in Australia trying to approach me, looking at me, it was trying to contact me from behind the glass. It all depends on your requirements for it to be considered a conversation. Free your mind and find an intelligent dog, I say. #awooo! 🐺 🐶
