2019-01-06 Jingles

I’ve been enjoying the making of jingles for my Halberds and Helmets Podcast. I extracted a few bars from the experiments I made a while ago, made a few new ones, and mostly I was simply happy that a jingle is just two bars of anything, really. You don’t need two minutes of material. Five seconds is enough.

Yesterday, I hooked up the iPad to the PO-33 and started up Animoog, picked some presets (I basically have no idea what I’m doing on that app), doodled around and when I found something I liked, I sampled it onto the PO-33. Somehow the Animoog app or the OP-1 are just too complicated for me but the PO-33 is simple enough for me to understand.

And after a little bit of clicking and button mashing, here you go:
