In university I had access to the Internet and in 1995 I was working on GermanAtlantis and I decided that having a public face would help build trust in me. I needed a website for myself and the game. At the time, Geocities was the perfect solution.

I have an archive of my old Geocities site. Some of the oldest files in it still date from 1998. I remember writing my pages in raw HTML, using first Perl, then Python scripts to add headers and footers, then moving to a WikiMode I had written for Emacs and generating my website from raw text files. Good times! 🙂

The site is in an extremely bad condition. 😟

Take a look.

Also in the Web Archive.
